b'GOLF ETIQUETTEThe etiquette of golf as printed in the rules of golf shall be observed at all times in the interest of you and your fellow golfers.The main points are:a)No one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind the ball or the hole when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke.b)The player who has the honour plays first.c)Play without delay and move quickly between shots.Be ready to play when it is your turn.d)Wait until the players in front are out of range beforeplaying your shot.e)When searching for a ball allow players coming up to pass through.f)Before leaving a bunker repair all marks made with the rake provided.g)Sand buckets must be carried and used to repair all divots. Pitch marks on greens must be repaired with a suitable tool.h)Be conversant with and observe all local rules printed on your scorecard and on the club noticeboard.i)Be courteous and helpful to all visitors and learner golfers who may not know the rules of golf or normal golf etiquette.j)The practice area is defined as the mown rectangular area boarded by No 5, 6 and 16 fairways. Additionally the putting green between the clubhouse and Mens No 7 tee.k)Practising on the course proper is not allowed. All other practice must be done on the practice area.9 9'
